God will make a way!

19 Jan

As I begin this blog I feel the pressures surrounding me and the walls falling…because I know where God has brought me from I stop and look up and begin to pray because I know that God will make a way even when I cannot see beyond my tears.

The peace of God is the deep calm that envelops the thought processes of the Almighty.
He is never anxious, always in command, never without a remedy. He sees the end from
the beginning and views the needs of man from the position of unlimited resources and
capabilities. He perceives the needs of His children with both compassion and confidence,
for all things are possible for Him.

I just returned from Jacksonville, FL where my friend and I supported another family member in a move from a stressful situation. I find that no matter where you go there is drama and old slew foot is working overtime in stirring up trouble. We (I included) give him too much room to do this. At some point we must let love overcome and trust God. This is very easy for me to say but not as easy to walk and I am fully aware of this. I will continue to proclaim this even when I do not feel like it. With the hurt and the pain that we experience it is difficult to move forward. I love my family, my children and my grandchildren…ALL of them…even when they think different.

I love my daughter so much and cannot seem to covey this to her. This is for Jenny:

My prayer is that as the year 2012 progresses more of us will see the importance of one another. We must bond together more than we ever have as time approaches. Lord let me be a light…let me be the angel on a mission that will bring a message of hope to those who will listen. In my plight to share what God has done for me I have missed the boat in my own family. Father God, restore to me what has been taken…as David fought to recover his family whom the enemy had taken…let me fight to recover mine. I am nothing in this world without YOU and without the FAMILY that you have given to me.

We are in a test!

“When you go through difficult times, make sure you pass the test. Don’t be stubborn and hardheaded. Recognize that God is refining you, knocking off some of your rough edges. Stand strong and fight the good fight of faith. God has called each of us to be champions; you are destined to win. If you will work with God and keep a good attitude, then no matter what comes against you, the bible says that all things – not just the good things in life, but all things – work together for your good.”
Joel Osteen

This blog will be short because it is late as well.
I want to invite all of you to join me in the Bible Reading for the year 2012. This week’s reading is:

Week January 15th Genesis 35-48; Psalm 18-24; Matthew 26-28; Mark 1-4

What I do know is that God’s Word does not return void. As you enter the Word into your heart you will grow in knowledge and understanding of His love. Love overcomes a multitude of sins and I have many.

‘Prosperity with a Purpose’

20 Sep

This is the week for convention and the obstacles that we face before we get there. I can say with all sincerity that it will be a dynamic time for this company. Why do I know this? Well, it has been difficult for me to get there as with many of you. Timing, finances and now my son who is in the Neuro ICU in Huntsville, AL…WOW! Yes, it has been very difficult for me, but…I will be there. God is very good to me as He always has been. ANYTHING that is worth doing is worth FIGHTING for. The enemy does not want me to succeed as with ALL of you. Whatever he can throw into your path he will. This company is getting ready to go BIG so hang on and lets go.

When I made the decision to go to convention was when I did not think I had the time or the monies. Well, I made the decision to ‘just do it’. Then I did not have anyone who would travel with me because of various reasons. As it turned out this was perfect. I made the decision to leave Louisville on Friday and go just south of Nashville and visit my family. (My brother is also an associate) After being in Smyrna for 24hrs, I received a phone call that said my son had collapsed in Ft. Payne, AL and was enroute to Huntsville hospital with a ‘brain bleed’. Now how awesome is this that I was only a little over an hour away as was the ambulance was a little over an hour away (but on opposite sides)? It is a great thing when one can see the ‘writing on the wall’. I proceeded to the emergency room and arrived shortly after my son arrived. Isn’t that interesting that I should be so close at such a time as this. I found him sleepy from medication and with a terrific headache. Yes he had a bleed in his head but miraculously God had stopped the bleeding and brought him to the hospital.

50% of persons who have such a bleed outside the controlled setting die prior to the arrival of EMS. Isn’t that interesting???? God’s people have come together and began to pray ‘ALL OVER THE WORLD’. Thanks Wendy and your group in Australia. People began to pray from coast to coast here in the States. David remains alert and oriented with all faculties of mind. Isn’t this interesting? Isn’t God good!!! Neurosurgeon says that we must take him to the operating room tomorrow to have this “bubble” clamped so that it does not bleed again. This is our plan for Tuesday September 20th, 2011. We will proceed with the 4-5hour surgery and expect God to guide the hands of this surgeon as He has coordinated my path over this past week…very carefully. Now God never causes bad things to happen but He sure does coordinate our paths so that we are at the right place at the right times. Thank you God!! Now what the enemy meant for bad God will turn around for good. Again, I say thank you God!!! Thank you for being with me through it all and for being there with my son. Thank you for having your people stand in the gap and praying.

I will be in convention on Thursday in Palm Beach Florida, even with these obstacles that face me. This is a convention that means “Prosperity with a Purpose”. There is sooooo much more than meets the eye so listen to the small still voice as you join in with the activities.

As I began this journey this week end, I had 3 coaching calls and shipped 2 challenges to interested persons. One completed the challenge within the first 24hours. One who previously completed the challenged called and said she wanted in! How awesome is this. God works in the midst of our trials. We face these obstacles, but the business will go on. This is what is so wonderful about this business. It will move forward if you will simply believe in what you are doing.

I trust in the company and I trust in the values established by this company. Thank you Rick and Don Cotton for your efforts in presenting it to us… Thank you Paul, Eddie, Bill and Dr. Joe for being a part of an organization that is ready to make an imprint in this century.

See you at convention. My son will be recuperating on his 42nd birthday in Huntsville, AL hospital…as I join my associates in making history for Exfuze.

Training is important

20 Aug

I am beginning this blog but must break shortly for Training call with Eddie Freeman. Business with Exfuze is getting ready to rise higher than it has ever been. This is the time to get involved. Sometimes it is difficult for me as I have another job and Exfuze is but ‘part-time’ right now, but this will soon change as the company hits its momentum.

WOW! Was that not a tremendous call this morning with Eddie!! This is available every Saturday morning for those who want to grow the business. We must get more tuned in and take advantage of what Exfuze is offering us. It is soooo valuable. Much of what Eddie does for us is donated because he is passionate about what he does. Thanks Eddie for what you are doing with us and for us. We must become passionate about what we believe and about the product that we wish to promote. If you are not you might as well get out of the business and do what works for you.

OUR TRAINING METHODOLOGY IS OUR STRENGTH
OUR TRAINERS ARE OUR ASSETS

I like what Eddie presented as speaking to simply 2 new people daily about the product. This is the process of duplication that we learned early in the business. The percentages may be low for those coming into the business but I have learned as Eddie that does not matter. Not giving up is the key. When you have passion about what you are doing, it shows and the right people will respond. I have a new distributor who was discouraged and was in a financial state where she could not set up her auto shipment yet. She knew that the product worked because it made a difference in her own health. Several calls came to me where she said, Evelyn it is just not working for me. No one wants to use the product or no one I talk to can afford it. I just continued to tell her to be a good customer herself and the product will market itself soon. She called me yesterday with excitement and said, “I have Amanda here whom I want you to tell her what Exfuze has done for you.” Awesome….she put Amanda on and we had a 3-way call (thanks to Eddie’s teaching) and I shared with her what the product had done for me. By the end of our conversation, this person was ready to try it, and already had her mom in her thoughts ‘because she had health issues that needed to get better.” She is going to try her first bottle because Trena had a bottle in her refrigerator to place in her hand. We must get to where we have stock to give to new prospects. Shipping is fine but when a person has to wait for a product, there is a loss of interest. Be prepared!

We are in this together as a team and we should most definitely
utilize our up line to assist us in sharing with new prospects.
We have to remember that we are not alone in this.
Let us help each other.

Whether it me or Eddie Freeman…call anytime and get help
when you need someone to expound or re enforce what you are
trying to say. TEAM-Together Everyone Achieves More

I have missed some of the PIP training sessions this past week, but I know that all is well and the system is working. My expectations are that soon we will have so many leads and we will be so busy that my part-time job will become more of a full time job. Changes are getting ready to happen not only on the side of my Exfuze business but at Norton Healthcare as well. I feel as though I will soon decrease my full time job to fewer hours there and continue to build my Exfuze Business. This is where my passion is developing.

Convention is coming up quickly and the newest product line is awesome. Remember they will be available initially only to those who attend the convention. So, try to attend convention if at all possible. If you have not purchased a ticket they are still available. If you have not joined the PIP team, then do so quickly. It is important to become a part of the active group who will be moving up to the next level quickly. Call me and I will walk you through signing up.

The day is gorgeous outside with the timing is good. The children are playing and the adults are occupied with their own little world. Moving mouse’s mostly…if you know what I mean. Oh well, life goes on and the day is new.

Build your business one person at a time…one step at a time.

It matters not how many persons you sign up for the business, it matters how many people you sign up who truly have passion for the product and the business. Exfuze is not a ‘get rich quick’ scheme. It is a change in your thinking and how to manage your health. I appreciate the leadership within this organization and their passion and tenderness towards the whole team. I am not ashamed to be called an Independent Exfuze Distributor. I am not ashamed of the product that I market because I know beyond any hesitation that you cannot go wrong in using it. I have been asked, “What do I lose if it does not work?” First of all I must say that when used according to recommended plans, it will work. Second, when the tools provided to us are used according to the recommended strategies, it will work. It is a no loss; no fail system when used properly. So jump in there and get trained. Just do it. It works.

Don’t ever, not ever quit!

31 Jul

Life is really short when we think of the ‘bigger picture’. I have been sitting here for an hour or so trying to decide what to speak about in this blog and I lean towards the theme of what I am hearing ALL around me. The sounds that come out are this: I’m tired, I hurt, I cannot do this anymore, this is too hard, I don’t know how to do this or I am broke, I cannot afford, you are better than me or I just don’t want to do this anymore.

This is not only speaking to the ‘Exfuze business’ but it is life in general. I hear the frustrations at work regarding the case load…the nurse patient ratio…the acuity levels that change…the education requirements that are increasing…that nurse did not complete their job during their shift…I cannot read these orders and so on. I hear from my friends saying they are overwhelmed in a marriage with complex issues regarding teenage children who are a bit rebellious, a spouse who does not understand or finances that do not meet the needs. “I want a divorce!” I hear from my children who have lost their jobs and cannot seem to get up again. I hear from my daughter about grandkids that have health issues that require many trips to the doctor and more time from mom but she is not willing to stop and reach out for help. I hear from my grown grandchildren that they cannot find jobs or any direction in their lives so they keep bouncing around without purpose. Or you have a granddaughter who refuses to grow up and she is in her 20’s. THE BIGGER PICTURE is what I must look at.

These are all very real issues and are a part of the real picture. How do we deal with them? I have said this many times before and will continue to say it. We cannot quit for sure. We must awaken each morning and declare that “THIS IS THE DAY THAT THE LORD HAS MADE, I WILL REJOICE AND BE GLAD IN HIM”. Speaking to my granddaughter this morning I said that life is a choice. We can choose to be happy or not. Circumstances may not immediately change but the way that we look at them will change. We can deal with problems when we realize that we are not alone and that there is a bigger picture. Sometimes we must reach out a hand and ask for help…but more important we must not quit…we must KEEP ON TRUCKING…

My husband was a truck driver when he died as was I and this is an old song that he used to like. It can be used for more than simply truck driving. It does bring back memories in more ways than one.

The Philippians were to stand fast in the Lord. This is difficult when the general tone is lowered; painful also, for one’s walk becomes much more solitary, and the hearts of others are straitened. But the Spirit has very plainly given us the example, the principle, the character, and the strength of this walk. With the eye on Christ all is easy; and communion with Him gives light and certainty; and is worth all the rest which perhaps we lose.

This is kinda short this week but let me assure you, the meaning is real. DON’T QUIT! DON’T STOP MOVING FORWARD! REACH OUT FOR HELP AND SUPPORT. BE HAPPY!

This is a day that the Lord has made.

You must invest

23 Jul

If you don’t invest very much, then defeat doesn’t hurt very much and winning is not very exciting.

Leaders do not command excellence, they build excellence. Excellence is “being all you can be” within the bounds of doing what is right for your organization. To reach excellence you must first be a leader of good character. You must do everything you are supposed to do. Organizations will not achieve excellence by figuring out where it wants to go, then having leaders do whatever they have to in order to get the job done, and then hope their leaders acted with good character. This type of thinking is backwards. Pursuing excellence should not be confused with accomplishing a job or task. When you do planning, you do it by backwards planning. But you do not achieve excellence by backwards planning. Excellence starts with leaders of good and strong character who engage in the entire process of leadership. And the first process is being a person of honorable character.

Courage — not complacency — is our need today…Leadership not salesmanship. John F. Kennedy

I was considering this week’s blog and thinking, how can I impart to my organization the tools necessary to win? I stated on Facebook that I was saddened at the thought of my patients and my coworkers crying out with pain or comfort issues. They delve into so many medications that are supposed to help them yet I see the side effects that create more problems. Even from within, I have some of my distributors who have chosen to no longer consume the product. Various reasons I suppose but I think “Why?” I listen to these cries for something that will make a difference and we have what can make a difference. How can we get this message over to those who need it? That is the big question!

I want to be a great leader…not just a good leader. I want for my passion to spill over so much that a second vessel cannot contain it. One distributor backed out because she did not get her investment back within 6 months. Dah!!! If I were into this business simply because of my investment then I need to back out. Exfuze is more than a business. It is a change of lifestyle. It is that garden that I want to plant in so that it will grow when I get ready to take a rest period. I may not have all the knowledge that I need to grow my business now, but this company provides us with ALL the tools necessary to do just that. We just must be persistent enough to keep moving forward knowing that at the end there will be a great feeling of accomplishment…because we have given back to our culture something that is most valuable. As I said this is not “just a business”. It is a way of lifestyle change which is so much more than a business.

Do you have the courage to press in, even with the odds are against you? Do you have the courage to press in when you hear the words,
“Not interested!”
Do you have the courage to press in when you hear, “another MLN?”
One must invest in order to get a return. One must sow those seeds in order to see them grow. Now that season is variable and the harvest times may be different….but there will be a harvest.

If you are ready to be a winner…come to convention!

Get involved, stay involved! Use the product and share the product. Let everyone know what it does for you because this is your testimony.

I had a fellow call me yesterday who 3 years ago had Prostate Cancer….now apart from using this product, he takes nothing. The doctors have told him he was cancer free. He is moving forward and staying healthy by using our nutrition product. It is not a cure but it is a supplement that will give the body the necessary nutrients that will help it to heal itself. That is what Exfuze does! Thanks to the leaders who provide it to us at a marketable pricing.
Be a winner! Join the team. Join Exfuze.
