Overcome or Overlook
Overcome – to surmount (obstacles, objections, etc.) to be victorious.
A successful leader will use every opportunity to overcome obstacles and thus will be victorious in achieving his goals.
Overlook – To fail to notice or consider; (miss). To ignore deliberately or indulgently; disregard.
A successful leader will not overlook opportunities to teach his team and involve them in all aspects of the business.
Prepare or Procrastinate
Prepare – To make ready beforehand for a specific purpose, as for an event or occasion.
A successful leader will prepare beforehand for meetings and interviews with prospective clients.
Procrastinate – To put off doing something, the act of replacing high-priority actions with tasks of low-priority, and thus putting off important tasks to a later time.
A successful leader will not procrastinate. He will prioritize tasks to optimize results.
